On our last day in Dubai we had lunch in the most luxurious hotel of the world: Burj Al Arab. To me the hotel didn’t look like a 7-star-hotel, at least of what I saw from the inside, which wasn’t that much: The foyer, a dining room, the toilets, a few shops, the elevators. I guess I just expected a bit more gold, shiny things, and furniture you don’t dare to touch because they look so expensive ;) Nevertheless, the Burj Al Arab is the most photographed object in the world, and therefore we wanted to get inside to see ourselves, why this hotel beats the records in so many ways.
Since there was Ramadan while our stay in Dubai, we had to eat in a selected area, which wasn’t that bad after all, because the dining room looked nice anyway. There was a buffet with both international and Arabic food and everything tasted so good!
